I have seen this done before but never took the time to think about how it would be done.
Anyhoot after about ten mins of research and then binning said research I decided to just wing it and try it how I would like it. This is what I came up with!
Ingredients (for what I made today)
4 Slices of thick bread
2 Eggs (free range)
Margarine (maybe butter next time)
3 Rash's of Bacon (really thick stuff!)
2 Large Cup Cake Cases
Because I am a fussy bugga, i cut off all the fat from the bacon and then went on to grill it.
While that was grilling away I prepared the cases for the bacon!
I rolled the bread very thin then using a cake cuttery thing I found in the wifes baking cuboard (lots of mess after) I cut out the circles and then using a sharp knife (adults only not for kids) I cut them in have and filled the cup cases.
The when bacon is grilled add it to the cases.
Oven on to fan assisted 180 ish... Other ovens do exist and work differently.
Once the oven is warmed up and that little light we all live by turns off, add the egg and pop the cakes into the oven.
I would say wait ten or fifteen minutes but when you think they are done they are done and take them out and WAALAAA!
They tasted amazing! Not sure what I would change next time but I will tinker with the idea a bit more.
Thanks for reading!

Moving house.
We don't seem to stay in the same place long....
It's been a fun year so far, and now we are on the move again. Not far, but a new place for a year! Even has a quarry behind to play in!

Went to the surplus store on the coast, and went for a rummage through their bargain bin, picked up this:
DPM (I know!) Sheath Machete IRR c1994
Noticed it has a pocket on the front which will fit my firesteel. So when I have sorted my machete this will be its new home. Not bad for £4 I thought.
AND
I got this self wicking t shirt as I wanted it in this colour instead of green. £3.
Sarnau Army Surplus
They seem to have a really good selection from different countries too, and are a stockist for Helikon! nice work!
